We are in search of an enthusiastic and skilled Interior Design Assistant to join us on a full-time basis, with potential part-time flexibility for students. Your Role in Our Design Journey
As an Interior Design Assistant at R. Nickson Interiors, you will play a pivotal role in transforming ideas into tangible realities. Your day-to-day tasks will be diverse and engaging, ensuring no two days are the same. You will:
Organize and Maintain Project Details: Handling project spreadsheets and binders will be key to ensuring our design projects are executed flawlessly.
Craft Compelling Presentations: Your ability to prepare presentations will help bring our design concepts to life, captivating our clients and collaborators.
Manage the Samples Library: You will be the go-to person for maintaining an organized and inspiring samples library, a cornerstone of our design process.
Participate in Site Visits and Run Vendor Errands: Being on-site and interacting with vendors will offer you real-world insights and hands-on experience in the field of interior design.
What We Are Looking For
Your skills and passion are what we value the most. We are looking for someone who:
Has experience in space planning and a flair for interior design.
Is proficient in creating 2D floor plans using AutoCAD.
Boasts excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors.
Shows strong organizational skills and pays meticulous attention to detail.
Holds a valid driver's license for site visits and errands.
Ideally has a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field, though talent and enthusiasm are our primary criteria.
